Take part of promoting entrepreneurship, showcasing innovation, and sparking impactful conversations at GEW 2025! We want to foster connections and highlight the positive impact that entrepreneurs can have, particularly in terms of innovation and sustainable development.

Call for events 2025

Our 2025 Call for Events is now open. Whether you're in the early stages of planning or already have a full event concept, we welcome your contribution.

Events must take place during GEW Basel (Nov 17–23, 2025).

​

They must align with the spirit of GEW: startups, innovation, inclusion, or sustainability - always with a focus on entrepreneurship.

​

We will publish confirmed events starting in September 2025.

Who can participate?

Everyone! Entrepreneurs, startups, investors, universities, coworking spaces, NGOs, public institutions, and more.

Events can be:

  • In-person or online

  • Open to the public or invite-only

  • Hands-on workshops, keynotes, panels, roundtables, etc.

Do you have an idea or a concept, but not all the details? You can list your potential event in the form so other event organizers can see it, but we won't publish it.​

Support local entrepreneurship and innovation by becoming a sponsor of GEW Basel.

While our organizing team is made up of passionate volunteers, running GEW Basel still comes with costs, and we can’t do it without a little help.

By sponsoring GEW Basel, you’ll not only support the local startup scene, but you’ll also earn our eternal gratitude (and some nice visibility too).

We offer flexible sponsorship options for companies, institutions, and foundations.

Your support helps us:

  • Offer visibility to local entrepreneurs  and changemakers

  • Promote inclusive, collaborative, and sustainable entrepreneurship in the Basel region

  • Encourage students to explore entrepreneurship and support continuous learning across all ages.

Each year, we host a fundraising auction to support GEW Basel and its community events.

We’re looking for:
